BKK Trip with Darling Lis!

Finally, here are the pictures taken during our BKK Trip. This will be a long long post..
Hmm.. I shall let the pictures do the talking. =)

10/04/08 - DAY 1

At the airport before checking in. Budget terminal is really small. -.-"
Photobucket

Us on the plane..
PhotobucketTigerairways sucks! We have to walk up the stairs to the plane. The seats are crampy and small. We can only adjust abit of the seat in order to sit more comfortably. The food and drinks were expensive. Hell lots of complaints..! BUT, it's budget airline so we can't ask for much. =)

The beautiful clouds upon arriving BKK
Photobucket

Finally after 2hrs+ of flight, arrival at Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport
Photobucket

Our hotel room at Bangkok City Suite
PhotobucketWe actually changed our rooms 3 times. -.-" The 1st room we got was at level 7 (top level) corner room. The lights at the corridor was so dim and so were the lights in the room, especially the bathroom. It looks eerie! So we request to change to another room which was at the same level. The 2nd room is at the near the center of the corridor but it looks eerie to us too. Thou we aren't too happy with it but we just tell ourselves it's a budget hotel so we just take it. Then, we realised it's a non-smoking room when we requested for an ashtray. DUHZ! And so, we have to change another room. This time, our room is the at 2nd level, just outside the lift. It was much more better compared to the previous 2 rooms so we just settled there.

Ciggy bought at DFS. Finally I can add this big box to my ciggy box collection! Hee.
Photobucket

Us snapping away after unpacking our stuff.
Photobucket

Our first shopping destination - MBK Shopping Centre
Nothing much to buy except cheap 199baht bags. The clothes and shoes there aren't very nice. Things are Tokyu Department Store aren't very cheap too. Prices like Isetan.

Lunch at Pizza House
Photobucket

Interesting poster outside some lingerie shop
Photobucket

After that, we head over to opposite Bonanza Plaza. This place is like our Bugis Village. Clothes are nicer and cheaper too! We bought alot of things there. =)

On Tuk-tuk back to hotel put our stuff
PhotobucketIt was fun sitting Tuk-tuk at night but the air was abit polluted. We even saw around 7-8 pax squeezing in a Tuk-tuk. Lol. We took a picture of them but not very clear and they actually wave at us too. I missed that shot but it was so funny. Haha.

At night, we went to Suam Lum Night Bazzar
PhotobucketI heard it's closed on Apr 2007 but it was still around! There are lotsa stuff there and a few nice chill-out places nearby. It's a good place to bargain cause they will actually chase after us when we walked away thinking that the price is too expensive.

Back to hotel room after a long and tiring day.
PhotobucketWe bought beer and tibits from 7-11 and played cards. I actually continuosly won 10 rounds of daidee at the start of the game. Poor lis have to keep drinking. She keep saying I cheat but I didn't and its quite funny cause I always lose more than I will win in daidee. We had fun thou. Super funny! Hee.

11/04/08 - DAY 2

Woke up early in the morning for the breakfast buffet at the hotel.

PhotobucketCan you see how sucky it is? Few choices and not nice. The nicest food is the sausage, toasted bread and coffee. The egg looks nice right? But the yolk is already harden! -.-" Maybe our expectation are too high. Haha. We just keep reminding ourselves - BUDGET! so make us feel better.

Before going out.. We love ourselves!

Snapping non-stop. We can't help it.. Haha.
Photobucket

Day 2 destination - Platinum Fashion Mall
PhotobucketWholesale mall! Buy 3 at a cheaper price! The things are quite nice there. One of the mall that we bought alot of things.

KFC for lunch.
PhotobucketOur KFC are much nicer compared to theirs. Ours are much juicy and finger lickin good.

Coffee Break!! Iced Canyon Coffee! Nice nice!
Photobucket

Next, to Pratunam nearby..
PhotobucketLotsa things going at wholesale prices too but the weather is abit hot out there.

Naraya Stuff we bought
Photobucket

Patpong Night Market
PhotobucketThis place is kinda sleazy cause there are alot of pubs where all the "Thai Girl Show" are. There are also long stretch of pasar malam selling alot of fake branded stuff. Haha.

Something really interesting - Guess what? We actually catched the "Thai Girl Show" at one of the pub after much hesitation cause we heard that it's quite dangerous for 2 girls to go see such show. But we are safe and sound! I feel that we are so brave! Haha. It's really cheap too. We paid 100baht for a bottle of beer and we can sit there and watch as long as we want. The show is really disgusting yet amazing. The girls were naked and they actually stuff alof of stuff into their pussy. Things like ping-pong balls, long strings, long sharp blades, etc. They even use their pussy to blow whistle, write wordings on paper, open bottle caps, etc. It's really an eye-opener but too bad photo takings are not allowed.

12/04/08 - DAY 3

As usual, our daily routine before heading out. Haha.
Photobucket

In the taxi to Chatuchak Weekend Market
Photobucket

8 different faces! This is soooo cute and funnnny! Lol!
Photobucket It makes me laugh everytime I see it, especially the last shot. We really looked damn stupid. Lol!

At Chatuchak Market (CTC)
Photobucket
Alot of stalls selling alot of different things. Some of the things there aren't cheap but those on the road side are much cheaper. It's really hot there. We are covered with sweat and we can't stand the heat after walking for 2hrs+.

We went back to MBK buy somemore bags and for food before heading back to hotel have a good bath and rest.

Food at One-fifth - MBK.
PhotobucketNice and spacious food court selling different types of food. But those we ordered aren't very nice thou. Haha.

Back to hotel have a short nap before going out again at night. Since we're both feeling lazy, so we ordered food from the hotel. Surprisingly, the food we ordered are quite nice and cheap too. Compared to the sucky breakfast, it was 100x times nicer man!
Photobucket

Khao san Road - Where the Songkran beginsssss!
PhotobucketWe never had much preparation before going to Khao San as we intend to go there for some clubbing. We only put our important stuff in ziplock bags. The moment we got out of cab, we were attacked by water and flour. Haha. Starting, it's really quite irritating cause we are all wet and our face and hair are in a mess. But after awhile, it's really fun cause you can see everyone holding water guns shooting at each other and also bua our face with flour. It is known as their traditional way of celebrating New Year. Thais believe that bad luck or evil is washed away by water. We had so much fun thou we keep kena splashed but it's really a great experience that we won't have it here in SG. =)

13/04/08 - DAY 4

After packing my stuff.. it's really damn heavy!
Photobucket

Before checking out..
Photobucket

At Chinatown..
PhotobucketNothing much to walk or see cause most of the shops are closed due to their New Year.

Namsing Bird Nest and Sharkfin
PhotobucketI read from the forum that this restaurant is quite popular. Cheap bird nest and sharkfin going at cheap prices! Slurps!

Next, we went to Platinum do some last shopping before leaving BKK then to Central World for food. It's damn big there, selling more high-end and branded products. There are also alot of restaurants there.

Yayoi Japanese Restaurant
PhotobucketJap food at damn cheap price! Food was not bad too!

Photobucket

Water Battle outside Central World
PhotobucketLooks fun yea? Too bad we can't join in the fun. I want to go BKK again next year for SongKran!!!!!

After that, we went back to hotel take our luggage then to airport. The flight back was terrible! One of the flight crew was so rude and attitude. We got the seats at the corner on the last row on the plane. We were surrounded by indians beside us and infront of us. And worst, a few rows of pax from China. I really can't stand the smell of them and also, they are really damn inconsiderate. Talk so loud on the plane as if they are in the own world, they can actually eat durians on the plane too. WTF! Really such a disgrace to their own country! I know I'm so bad but I really can't accept it. Condemnnnnnnn them!

After 2hrs+ of terrible flight, we finally reached SG. Budget terminal sucks too! They have this damn long pathway that leads you to the airport inside. -.-"

Didn't took any picture on the way back cause we are too shagged.

Arghhhh! Ok.. Enough of complaints! At least we had fun during our trip. Only things we missed out was Thai massage, spa and manicure cause we spent most of our time shopping and eating. Anyway, it will be a memorable one for me. =)

Lastly, Cordon Bleu and red wine for my dad and my favourite Hoegaarden!
